  1. My MANLEY/MUNNELLY family are from Co Mayo, Ireland. Spelling of the name changed from MUNNELLY to MANLEY when they emigrated to Waukegan IL, USA, 1849. My ancestor Catherine (1808-1860) married Patrick Edward FOY (1797-1860) in Co Mayo. I have autosomal results FTDNA.com, have tested at dna.Ancestry and at 23&Me, uploaded to GedMatch.
All but the youngest of their 11 children were b. Co Mayo 1830-1838 (Martin, Mary Jane, Peter, John, Ann “Nancy”, Margaret “Maggie”, William, Patrick, Michael, Thomas).
I have an extensive family tree at Ancestry.com http://trees.ancestry.com/tree/7359193/person/287170091
and have dna matches to several other MANLEY/MUNNELLYs, all w Co Mayo ancestors. So far, their families emigrated to England, Ontario Canada, NY, PA, and MD,US, while mine went to IL.
Catherine’s father would have been born abt. 1780, possibly named Peter or John. Catherine’s daughter Bridget Marie FOY (1839-1892) was baptized 29 Dec 1839 Backs/Knockmore, address given is Carramore, likely Lacken w Sponsors Pat FOY, Ann GAUGHAN. Bridget m James Muredach FORD (1836-1908)at St. Mary’s Church (old) 1860 in Chicago IL, and they lived in Lake View district of northern Cook County, IL.

Is there a way for me to enter a small part of that here?

  2. Do you have a way for me to edit/update my basic info above? GedMatch #F200066
and do you want me to post names of people I have matches to? Are you going to create a big tree to cover all?
